Do you offer hearing protection?
Absolutely. We provide custom-fitted earplugs and protective solutions for work, music, motorsports, shooting, swimming and more.
If I need hearing aids, will I get them on the same day?
In most cases, hearing aids are ordered after your test so they can be customized for you. We will guide you through the options and fit them at a follow-up appointment.
Do I need a referral to see an audiologist?
No, you can book an appointment directly with us. If we find a medical concern during your test, we will refer you to an ENT specialist.
How long does a hearing test take?
Most full hearing tests take about 45-60 minutes, including time to review your results and answer your questions.
Does a hearing test hurt?
Not at all. Hearing tests are safe, painless and non-invasive.
What should I bring to my appointment?
Bring your ID and medical aid details, any recent hearing test results (if you have them), and a list of medicines you are currently taking. If possible, it can be helpful to bring a family member.
How do I know if I need a hearing test?
If you often ask people to repeat themselves, turn the TV up louder than others prefer, struggle to follow conversations (especially in noisy places), or have ringing in your ears, it’s a good idea to have your hearing checked.
Does medical aid cover tests and hearing aids?
Many medical aids do cover part or all of the cost, depending on your plan. We’ll help you with the paperwork.
What if my test shows a medical problem?
If we find something that needs medical treatment, we will explain it clearly and refer you to the right specialist.
Can you help with tinnitus (ringing in my ears)?
While there’s no single cure for tinnitus, we offer assenssments and personalized management strategies that can reduce the impact it has on your daily life.
